
Alysh Oetzel, MS, CCC-SLP
Alysh Oetzel is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She specializes in supporting individuals across the lifespan who experience complex communication challenges, with a particular focus on functional communication, language processing, and speech sound disorders.

Alysh brings deep expertise in evidence-based approaches such as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), Visualizing and Verbalizing, and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). She also has a strong understanding of gestalt language processing and the importance of supporting self-generated language development.

At the heart of Alysh’s work is a connection-based, trust-centered approach. She prioritizes creating therapeutic relationships that foster autonomy, build confidence, and empower clients to express their unique voices—no matter the severity of their communication disorder.
