Alysh Oetzel, MS, CCC-SLP

Alysh Oetzel is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She specializes in supporting individuals across the lifespan who experience complex communication challenges, with a particular focus on functional communication, language processing, and speech sound disorders.

Alysh brings deep expertise in evidence-based approaches such as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), Visualizing and Verbalizing, and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). She has experience working with individuals who use echolalia, scripting, and repetitive or highly patterned language while recognizing the importance of self-generated communication.
